Start your engines Abu Dhabi, Uber has arrived!

The Formula 1 season may be coming to an end, but Uber is leaving no surprises for the Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix! Uber has begun testing in Abu Dhabi, right in time to get you to all of the race week activities. Whether you are heading to Yas Island for the Saturday race, visiting the Middle East’s biggest water park for some family fun, or going out for some late night partying, Abu Dhabi now has a quick, safe, reliable service to get you there.

Earlier today the first Ubers started roaming the streets of Abu Dhabi. Within minutes Formula 1 driver Alexander Rossi managed to grab the first ride heading out from the Yas circuit. Alexander is no stranger to speed, but was in awe by how fast his driver Abdul picked him up.

Uber is still in testing mode in Abu Dhabi, so only limited services are available. But don’t worry, we’re working hard and adding additional cars every day to ensure you get a comfortable, reliable and safe ride.
