Schedule at least 60 minutes in advance to lock in your price ahead of your trip so you can avoid surprises. When you schedule at least 30 minutes in advance, your driver will pick you up on time or you’ll receive a $10 credit.
How much do scheduled rides cost?
Scheduled Rides pricing is similar to on-demand trip pricing and is based on duration, distance, traffic, and demand. When you schedule a ride at least 60 minutes in advance, your price will be locked in ahead of time. If you schedule less than 60 minutes in advance, you’ll receive a fare estimate will be notified via push notification if your fare has changed when your driver is assigned to you.

What is the Scheduled Rides Pickup Guarantee?
When you schedule at least 30 minutes in advance of your trip, your driver will arrive to pick you up before the end of the 10 minute window you specify, or you’ll automatically receive a $10 Uber credit for use on a future trip(s). The Pickup Guarantee only applies to UberX, XL, Select, Black, and SUV. Please be ready to leave when your driver arrives.
In what scenarios does the Scheduled Rides Pickup Guarantee apply?
If your driver arrives to pick you up after the end of the 10 minute window you’ve specified, you’ll receive a $10 credit regardless of whether you cancel or take your trip. In the extremely rare event no driver is available for your trip, you’ll be notified and will also receive a $10 credit.
In what scenarios will I not receive a credit?
You won’t receive a credit if your trip was scheduled less than 30 minutes in advance, or if your trip was scheduled for a vehicle other than an UberX, XL, Select, Black, or SUV. You won’t receive a credit if your driver was en route and you canceled your trip. Riders are eligible for a maximum of five $10 credits within 30 days resulting from the Scheduled Rides Pickup Guarantee. If a rider experiences more than five late pickups in 30 days, they will no longer receive a $10 credit for late pickups.
