Women of Uber is the community at Uber for women, gender non-binary employees, and allies
Our mission is to promote the advancement of women at Uber and beyond by building a global community, accelerating professional development, and partnering across the company to attract & retain top talent.
Our north star goal to track progress against this mission is to increase the representation of women in leadership roles at Uber globally.

Eats Sales Operations Lead
Wensheen joined in 2015 as a Driver Operations manager in DC, and has worked on both Rides and Eats operations teams since. She now leads the US/Canada Sales Ops team, driving sales strategy and efficiency. After two years on the WoU Board, Wensheen is thrilled to be a co-chair for 2018. Before Uber, she was a consultant with Deloitte. In her free time, she enjoys stress-baking olympic lifting, and learning new languages.
Senior Program Manager
Blaire joined Uber in early 2016 to head up the 1 Million Women program, focusing on finding ways to economically empower women through the Uber platform. Since achieving the initial goal in 2017, her focus has shifted to look at social impact more broadly. Her experience before Uber included several years at Bain, a Harvard MBA, and P&L ownership roles at Gap and Dropbox. In her spare time she listens to political podcasts, works on her backlog pile of books, and spoils her dog, Louis.
We launched our peer coaching program last year and have over 900 people in our database
In November we launched The Bolt, an external platform for the WoU community to share empowering stories and improve the Uber reputation.
In 2017 we sent out 25 editions of our biweekly global newsletter to an audience of over 2200 employees around the world, keeping them informed of events, resources, and community news.
