About the Team

 

Sales at Uber is unique. The Sales & Success team is the growth engine responsible for the acquisition, retention and development of partners, ensuring their ongoing success on the platform. We are rapidly expanding, and are seeking passionate individuals to come and join the team!

About the Role

 

Our Sales Representatives are customer champions! They are responsible for building relationships with potential Restaurant Partners in an end to end sales process. This includes sourcing and qualifying leads, cold calling and educating potential Restaurant Partners on the value proposition of the Uber Eats platform. This role is working with small to medium businesses and is an opportunity to help change the way restaurants do business.

What you’ll do

 

  • Engage potential Restaurant Partners and bring them onto the Uber Eats platform
  • Educate Restaurant Partners about how Uber Eats works and demonstrate the value proposition
  • Operate in a sales territory, leveraging internal processes and previous experience to create new partnerships
  • Help SMB Restaurant Partners grow and thrive in their businesses

What you’ll need

  • Previous customer service or sales experience
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Effective organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Patience and empathy for our customers
  • Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems
  • To be tech savvy

 

Bonus Points If…

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent tertiary education
  • Bilingual
