What You’ll Do

  • Act as a project manager in a variety of cities to launch mobility services with partner fleet companies
  • Work closely with your manager and various cross-functional teams to align on launch strategies and execute them flexibly and efficiently
  • Build a good relationship and enduring trust with fleet partners through the launch process by solving their issues quickly and delivering world-class support to them
  • Beyond launch, continue to act as a point of contact for fleet partners even after service launch to ensure Uber is able to help their businesses grow through troubleshooting and providing helpful insights.
  • Help Uber’s Product teams to better understand the needs of fleet companies, and to prioritise the development of new tools and features
  • Provide helpful guidance to fleet partners on business metrics and insights using business intelligence dashboards to measure and improve performance
  • Set guidelines for internal and external communication to set the right expectation for all stakeholders
  • Give visibility of all relevant interaction with taxi partners in a clear and organized manner to all internal stakeholders
  • Prioritize accounts based on their importance and allocate resource accordingly
  • Act as an ambassador of Uber’s mission, brand, and product.

What You’ll Need

  • Passion for transportation and urban mobility in Japan
  • Native Japanese speaker
  • At least 3 years of experience managing and leading teams in sales, operations, account management, or similar function
  • Familiarity and comfort negotiating with senior Japanese people in traditional industries
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships with Japanese clients from scratch
  • Exceptional listening, communication and organizational skills
  • Infectiously positive attitude of going through at any cost to improve partners’ convenience by coordination with a variety of teams ; hustle and determination
  • Adaptability to change in a fast-paced environment
  • Skill in organizing tasks in proper manner and tracking the progress to get things done.
