Uploading your documents

Below, you'll find details on what documents are required in the signup process. for drivers in New Delhi. You can submit your documents at a local Greenlight Hub or at partners.uber.com.

Tips: uploading your documents

Make sure all required details are clearly visible

Ensure your document contains all required details before uploading. The entire document should be clearly visible.

Upload your driver's licence first

This will speed up the approval process when we need to cross-check your licence with other documents.

You can go here to get more information about uploading your documents through the Driver app.

Original documents only

We do not accept photocopied documents, so please make sure you only upload original documents.

Note:

It may take up to 48 hours for your documents to be reviewed and verified.

Driver documents

Driving License

  • Entire document must be captured in the photo
  • All text must be clear and legible.
  • Must be a Commercial Driving License
  • License can not be expired
  • Driver must be at least 19 years old

A driver profile photo

  • Must be a forward-facing, centered photo including the driver’s full face and top of shoulders, with no sunglasses
  • Must be a photo only of the driver with no other subject in the frame, well-lit, and in focus. It cannot be a driver’s license photo or other printed photograph

Vehicle documents

Registration Certificate (RC)

  • Entire document must be captured in the photo
  • All text must be clear and legible
  • Registration must not be expired
  • If vehicle is registered in another's name, the NOC/Affidavit will be required

Vehicle Insurance

  • Entire document must be captured in the photo
  • All text must be clear and legible
  • Registration must not be expired

Tourist Permit (Form 47/Form 78/Form 84)

  • Entire document must be captured in the photo
  • All text must be clear and legible
  • Tourist Permit must not be expired

Contract Carriage Permit (NCT Delhi)

  • Entire document must be captured in the photo
  • All text must be clear and legible
  • Contract Carriage Permit must not be expired

Additional documents

Partner/Driver

  • Police Verification
  • PAN Card for direct deposit
