Uber Advertising Launches Cross-Channel Incrementality Measurement, Powered by Affinity Solutions, to Prove Sponsored Listings Drive Brick-and-Mortar Sales
New solution extends Sponsored Listings incrementality measurement beyond Uber Eats to capture sales impact across a restaurant’s broader business.
New York, NY, October 5, 2026 – Uber Advertising today announced Sponsored Listings Cross-Channel Incrementality, a new measurement solution powered by Affinity Solutions to help restaurant advertisers understand the incremental sales their Sponsored Listings campaigns drive across Uber Eats and their physical restaurant locations in the U.S.
Commerce media measurement often stops at the platform boundary, leaving marketers without a full view of the incremental growth their campaigns drive across channels and over time. By pairing Uber Advertising’s existing test-and-control experimentation with de-identified and aggregated findings from Affinity Solutions’ deterministic, bank-direct credit and debit card transaction data, advertisers can now measure the true omnichannel impact of their Uber Eats campaigns, extending visibility to purchases made at physical restaurant locations.
“We initially set out to identify whether a sale on Uber Eats cannibalizes an offline order, a question that gets to the heart of how we think about incrementality,” said Jake Kastner, Global Head of Measurement Strategy at Uber Advertising. “We already have rigorous experimentation in place to understand the causal impact of Sponsored Listings on Uber Eats. Working with Affinity Solutions allows us to extend that same question to the broader restaurant business and give advertisers a more complete picture of what their investment is driving. As delivery apps increasingly become a starting point for dining decisions, that broader view of impact becomes even more important.”
Alongside the launch, Uber Advertising and Affinity Solutions have released a report, Beyond Delivery: Driving Holistic Restaurant Growth with Uber Advertising, which examines the cross-channel and longer-term impact of Sponsored Listings on restaurant growth. Among eaters exposed to Sponsored Listings, sales increased 40% on Uber Eats and 27% across measured sales channels, including a 5% lift at brick-and-mortar locations during the campaign period. That impact also persisted after campaigns ended, with sales lift averaging 8% on Uber Eats and approximately 5% at brick-and-mortar locations over the following six months.
“市场营销人员不应将平台外发生的事情视为盲区,”Affinity Solutions 首席产品官 Kalyan Lanka 表示,“通过将优步广告的衡量方式与我们的交易数据和匹配能力相结合,品牌能够更全面地了解消费者的消费行为——无论是在 Uber Eats 优食上还是平台外。量化这种更广泛的影响,可以揭示此前未被发现的价值,并展现每个活动的真实投资回报。”
The new solution builds on Uber Advertising’s existing Sponsored Listings Incrementality measurement, which uses experimentation to determine the causal impact of Sponsored Listings on sales within Uber Eats. Sponsored Listings Cross-Channel Incrementality extends that framework beyond the platform, helping advertisers evaluate campaign performance against a broader view of restaurant growth.
