优步看护人社区 (Parents at Uber)
The community for parents and caregivers
Our mission is to broaden the conversation around being a parent at Uber.
What we stand for
We support new parents before and after their parental leave.
We help managers and their teams better manage colleagues with families (before, during, and after leave).
We provide ongoing resources and networks to all employees with families.
Program Manager, Diversity and Inclusion
Alison has spent the last 2 years developing Diversity and Inclusion initiatives at Uber that involve working parents and parents-to-be. Before joining Uber, Alison spent 6 years at Yelp working in sales leadership and was involved in creating employee resource groups. Her proudest moments so far have been executing a number of projects that have improved the lives of mothers at Uber.
Restaurant Operations Lead, Uber Eats Canada
Faye is a proud member of the team that helped to launch Uber Eats in Toronto in 2015. She holds the claim to being the first member of the Uber Canada team to go on maternity leave, and since her return she has been a passionate advocate for parents and parents-to-be. Her son William enjoys saying the word “Uber” and hitting the “Place order” button at the end of an Uber Eats order.
Autonomy Test Analyst, ATG
David is a Pittsburgh native who joined Uber ATG in early 2018, and he’s excited to be working on self-driving technology with a team of amazing people. His daughter was born in the Dominican Republic and spent her first few years in Seoul, South Korea. David is thrilled to have the opportunity to advocate and support parents and parents-to-be.
Executive sponsor, SVP of Communications and Public Policy
Jill Hazelbaker is the Senior Vice President of Communications and Public Policy at Uber, leading the teams and global efforts across communications and public affairs. Jill lives in San Francisco with her husband and 2 young daughters, and their golden retriever.
Global parental policy advocacy
In 2018, Parents at Uber successfully advocated for the extension of global parental policy to 18 weeks for everyone.
Bringing our kids to work
We help organize Take Your Kids to Work Day and Halloween across a number of offices globally.
We work with other ERGs to bring in thought-provoking speakers and industry experts to help us advance the narrative around being a parent at Uber.
