Driving at Key West International Airport (EYW)

Airports can be complicated places, especially for drivers. But knowing the basics, and getting information in advance about your local airport, can help make sure you’re prepared for your first pickup or dropoff.

Airport regulations

Per EYW regulations, drivers must adhere to the terms below. Failure to do so may result in a citation. Sorry, but Uber will not pay for citations.

  • All pickups must occur on the Arrivals level
  • The Uber decal must always be displayed in your windshield
  • When on airport property, the Uber Driver App must be open at all times (please do not log off until you exit the airport)
  • You may be asked to show your waybill. To access it, tap the “info” button that appears in your app

Uber decal

The Uber decal must be displayed in your windshield when picking up and/or dropping off at EYW. Place it on your passenger-side front windshield facing outward.

Once you become an Uber partner, we will mail you a decal. You should receive it within 7 business days.

While you wait for your Uber decal to arrive, you can print and use a temporary one so that you can begin taking trips from EYW immediately.

Tap here to order a decal.

Pickups at the airport

It’s easy to receive trip requests from riders leaving the airport. To receive a trip request at EYW, you need to wait off-property. Please ensure you have an Uber decal before driving onto airport property for pickups.

Dropoffs at the airport

At EYW, simply drop off riders at their requested terminal on the departures level. It’s important to keep the Uber Drive App on until you exit airport property.
