Communications

at Uber

We're responsible for working with media, policy makers, and third parties to explain why Uber is great for our customers, our partners, and the cities we serve.

Why Communications at Uber?

Endless Possibilities

We’re at the forefront of sharing Uber’s story with the world. Our work is dynamic and lively every day.

Impact & Reach

Every minute of every day, consumers and partners on the Uber platform can tap a button and get a ride, get a meal or get work. Our team helps tell the stories of our products, our technology, our partners, and our employees from around the globe.

Be a Visionary

We make big, bold bets to transform the way the world moves. Our team helps consumers and media understand our cutting-edge technology, our products, and the power of the Uber platform.

Meet the team

  • Yoomi Choi

    Head of Communications, North Asia

"Uber is reshaping the world in how people, cities (and things!) move, and I’m excited to be part of the evolution. I get to live and breathe this everyday as part of my job, with a touch of creativity. Uber is always an interesting topic for journalists, whether it’s talking about our different products or how we’re innovating in emerging technology. I learn something new every single day -- there’s never been a dull moment in my journey at Uber!"

  • Becky Katz Davis

    Consumer Communications Manager

"As part of the Consumer Communications team, I have the opportunity to look at every element of Uber through a consumer lens. We transform a traditionally tech-focused narrative and tell that story to a different audience so we can spread our mission and connect with the millions of people around the world who use Uber every day. Our technology is changing the way people move, the way they eat, the way they think about getting from point A to point B -- and with an eye toward continued innovation, anything is possible with the tap of a button."

  • Hélène Barrot

    Communications, Western & Southern Europe

"It has been a unique experience building Uber’s brand and story in Europe over the past three years. We have worked hard to live up to our commitment to do the right thing. It is no easy ride, but we learn and grow every day. I am very proud of all the work we’ve accomplished and excited about the opportunities ahead."
