Uber Elevate Summit | Terms & Conditions

Uber Elevate Summit 2019 ("Summit") will take place at the Reagan Center in Washington D.C. (the "Venue") on June 11th and June 12th 2019. This registration agreement (the "Agreement") is made by and between Uber Technologies, Inc. ("Uber") and you, the "Registrant." This Agreement includes and incorporates by reference the Uber Privacy Policy, which governs the information you provide to Uber as part of this registration process, as well as any applicable code of conduct for this event. The registration fee for Summit registration will depend on your ticket type. All fees must be paid at the time of registration. Once payment is finalized, no adjustment, reimbursements, or discounts may be applied, and all fees are non-refundable. All tickets for the Summit are non-transferable, and Uber will not accommodate requests for substitution. Any purported transfer or assignment is null and void.



If you are a current full-time employee of any U.S. federal, state, or local government agency, or a current full-time employee of any international government agency, you may purchase an Uber Elevate Summit ticket at a discount of 75 percent off the price of a standard ticket. If you are a current student, or a full-time employee of a non-profit organization, you may purchase an Uber Elevate Summit ticket at a discount of 50 percent off the price of a standard ticket. Such discounts may not be combined if you qualify under two or more categories above. If you purchase one of the discounted tickets described above, and present such ticket for entry to the Uber Elevate Summit, you must also present a valid, unexpired form of identification, verifying your status as an employee or student within the categories above. Please note that, if Uber is unable to verify or validate your status as such, you may be denied entry without refund.

Public Officials and Employees: Please note Uber is a registered lobbyist employer at the US federal, state, and local level. By registering for the 2019 Uber Elevate Summit, you represent you will comply with all applicable ethics rules and regulations in connection with your attendance, including any reporting obligations. If you are prohibited from accepting Uber hospitality at this event, arrangements can be made to provide you with an invoice. Please reach out to with any questions or to make such arrangements.



The Uber Elevate Summit is held in a public space, and Uber, participants, exhibitors, sponsors, news organizations, or other companies may photograph, video-record, or tape Uber Elevate Summit activities. By registering and attending the Uber Elevate Summit, you acknowledge that your participation and attendance may result in you being photographed or otherwise recorded. With respect to any such taping, photography, and recording by Uber, Uber shall be the exclusive owner of such, with the right, throughout the world, an unlimited number of times in perpetuity, to copyright, use, and license others to use, in any manner, all or any portion thereof or of a reproduction thereof, in connection with the Uber Elevate Summit or otherwise. For purposes of clarity, you expressly waive any and all moral rights you may have in connection with your appearance.

The views expressed by any Uber Elevate Summit attendee, speaker, exhibitor, or sponsor are not necessarily those of Uber or its affiliates and subsidiaries. All Uber Elevate Summit attendees, speakers, exhibitors, and sponsors are solely responsible for the content of any and all individual or corporation presentations, marketing collateral, advertising, and online content.



Due to reasons outside of Uber’s control, the Uber Elevate Summit may be postponed, rescheduled, or cancelled without liability on the part of Uber. Uber shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance of its obligations hereunder to the extent such delay or failure is caused by fire, flood, strike, civil, governmental or military authority, acts of God, acts of terrorism, acts of war, epidemics, the availability of the Venue, or other similar causes beyond its reasonable control. In the event the Uber Elevate Summit cannot be held or is postponed for one of the above reasons, the Uber Elevate Summit shall not be liable to any attendee for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodations costs, or financial losses, and shall only be responsible for refunding the registration fee to the attendee.
