Take off with the Elevate team
The Uber Elevate team is looking for people who share our vision for the future of transportation and want to work with experts from across industries and government, including NASA, aerospace, artificial intelligence, big data analytics, investments, management consulting, military special operations, software development, and real estate.
The Product Manager for Aviation Infrastructure will own the end-to-end conception, design, siting, regulatory approval, build-out, and maintenance for all physical infrastructure within the global Uber Air network. This role predominantly focuses on dense, urban “Skyports” (takeoff, landing, and charging facilities for Uber Air eVTOL aircraft), in addition to all their supporting physical infrastructure, e.g. maintenance facilities, hangar space, and recharging facilities.
The backend engineer will focus on developing systems that power the operation of Uber’s airspace systems for UberAIR (passenger-carrying) aircraft and potentially Drone Delivery operations.
The Data Science Manager for Elevate will lead our team of world class data scientists, and focus on conducting cutting-edge research. The team is responsible for making data-driven business recommendations by building, leveraging and enhancing simulation, tooling and experimentation software.
The Android engineer will focus on developing products that deliver the end-user experience for UberAIR (passenger-carrying) and Drone Delivery (food-carrying) operations.
ATC Paris is looking for experienced researchers who are willing to both advance the state of the art in their scientific domain of expertise, and assist in the development of advanced technologies to build transportation systems of the future. The Uber Elevate team is working toward transforming the world through aerial ridesharing at scale. This is an opportunity to support the development of the new Uber Elevate research and development lab in Paris, in strong connection with the teams in San Francisco. In this role, you will manage complex calendar including vetting, prioritizing and providing recommendations, and ensuring all logistical details are in place.
Uber Elevate's Advanced Technologies Center Paris (ATCP) is focused on advancing the state of knowledge in digital sciences, and developing advanced technologies that can help make cities smarter, better, and more efficient places to live and work. Based in Paris, France, The center brings together scientists and engineers working on many exciting topics that impact Elevate's vision of future air transport. We are looking for a DevOps-oriented engineer, passionate about supporting research activities through modern and scalable software engineering practices to join us.
The backend engineer will focus on developing systems that integrate with a spectrum of real-time and historical data services to support mission-critical business decisions for airspace operations.
A network of eVTOLs will enable rapid, reliable transportation between suburbs and cities and, ultimately, within cities. These vehicles will be managed by a highly automated set of complex services called the Elevate Services (ECS). In this role you will develop the detailed product descriptions for the Elevate Services (ECS) and their product elements, including operational user interfaces, pilot and rider apps, services, and planning services.
The Digital Product Designer will be responsible for shipping elegant, innovative customer obsessed design solutions across a variety of digital mediums, facing both internally and externally. This role requires creating a robust suite of internal tools, focused on demand-forecasting data, fleet management, and airspace configuration.
This individual will be a data scientist on the Uber Elevate team who will be mostly in charge of building novel solutions and algorithms. They will be tasked with making our existing system more scalable by introducing novel solutions and building new features by working with stakeholders. This individual will also be working on ad hoc projects throughout the Elevate ecosystem that require data, prediction, and optimization. They need to have very strong coding abilities and connect well with a product that evolves very rapidly.
