Introducing Fare Changes on UberX

Over the last few months, we have completed multiple roundtable sessions with driver-partners in Kampala to understand more about driver-partner earnings while driving using the Uber App.
We remain committed to providing a reliable earnings opportunity for driver-partners, as well as a reliable and affordable service for Uber riders.
While we have always tried to keep prices as low as possible, we need to be aware of the increased costs for driver-partners. With this in mind, we will be increasing prices on UberX by 20% effective 29 January 2020.
Here is a breakdown of the new fares:
