UberX

The majority of riders choose UberX. You can use most recent models to drive with UberX. Available in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Helsingborg, Västerås, Östergötland and Örebro.

Additional requirements:

  • 4-door vehicle in good condition
  • Seats at least 4 passengers in addition to the driver

Green

Offer sustainable rides with 100% electric vehicles. Available in Stockholm and Gothenburg.

Additional requirements:

  • Fully electric vehicle (hybrids and plug-in hybrids not accepted)
  • 4-door vehicle in good condition
  • Seats at least 4 passengers in addition to the driver

Comfort

With Uber Comfort, riders will pay a little extra to be matched with more experienced, top-rated driver-partners who have newer, mid-sized cars.

To be eligible to receive trip requests with Uber Comfort, you’ll need to meet the criteria below.

Driver requirements

  • A cancellation rate maximum of 15%
  • A minimum rating of 4.75

Vehicle requirements

  • Vehicles may not be older than 6 full years old
  • Seat at least 4 passengers in addition to the driver
Comfort Vehicle

Uber Black

Charge higher fares in our premium ride option. Available in Stockholm, and Gothenburg. To access Black, you need to drive with an eligible vehicle, and meet additional requirements, see below.

Driver requirements:

  • A cancellation rate maximum of 15%
  • A minimum rating of 4.80

Vehicle requirements:

  • Vehicles may not be older than 6 full years old
  • Seat at least 4 passengers in addition to the driver
  • 4-door vehicle
  • Good condition with no cosmetic damage
  • No commercial branding
  • Dark Colour: Must be Black, Grey, Blue, Dark Blue, Dark Grey or Brown
