Saudi Arabia is undergoing important economic changes this year. With events like the recent introduction of VAT and the increase in fuel prices we share both riders’ and driver partners’ concerns and are always doing our best to find solutions that will benefit both our riders and drivers partners.
To reflect these changes, prices will be increased slightly on uberX. Additionally, per government ride-sharing regulations, a fee of SAR0.525 will be applied to riders for each trip starting in February.
It matters to us that Partner Drivers—the Saudi heroes behind the wheel that help keep Saudi Arabia moving— continue to maintain a sustainable living whilst driving with Uber.
