These terms and conditions apply to your use of the promotional code for trips in Romania, paid with the Visa Business card added to the User’s account.

1. Definitions

1.1 The following words and phrases have the meanings shown next to them:

1.1.1 “Uber” means Uber B.V. of Burgerweeshuispad 301, 1076 ER Amsterdam, the Netherlands, or the Uber applications, websites, content, products, and services enabling access to request transportation and/or logistics services with independent third-party providers of such services. Uber is the Promoter of this promotion.

1.1.2 “User” means the holder of an eligible Uber account in the Uber app.

1.1.3 “Rides” mean journeys booked using the Uber app in Romania. The promotion does not apply to rides booked with a business profile.

2. Eligibility Criteria

2.1 The promotion is valid only for users whose primary country of usage of the Uber app is Romania, or – if the user has no previous trips – the country of registration in the app, or the country of phone number registration is Romania. 

2.2 Only users who have received communication from their bank featuring a discount for the ride with the Uber app are eligible for the promotion. To benefit from the promotion:

• Open the Uber app
• Go to your profile
• Go to the “Wallet” section -> “Add a promo code”, write your promotional code (in the promotion section not Vouchers)
• Your promo code is now active in your account and it will apply automatically for your next two trips with a limit of 10 lei per trip.
• Insert your destination
• Choose a Visa Business card as a payment method
• Order the trip
• Enjoy the ride at a discounted price!

The promotional code is valid only for trips paid with the Visa Business card, Terms and Conditions apply.

3. General Terms

3.1. The offers apply to the use of the Uber app to book transport. They don’t apply to any other Uber product and can’t be used in conjunction with any other Uber offer or promotion. The value of the promotion is not transferable to any other person different from the recipient of the promotion. The promotion value is not transferable to money or any other form of monetary benefit. The aforementioned applies to the unused promotional amounts accordingly.

3.2 Offer gives you a discount using the promo code, allowing you to pay less for your trip. You have a discount for two trips. Promotion is valid from 20th of July to the 31st of august.

The second ride taken within the promotional period will automatically be discounted from the same code.

The discounted ride must be within the administrative borders of the areas in Romania where Uber is available and is subject to the availability of Uber driver partners.

3.3 The value of the promotion is 30%. The maximum value of the discount is 10 RON per trip.  Promotion available for two trips.

3.4 Discount will apply only to trips paid only with a Visa Business card, as an eligible payment method for this promotion. The other rides will be charged to your chosen payment method according to the trip cost.

3.5 A discounted ride can’t be sold, transferred, or otherwise redeemed for cash.

3.6 The offer is valid from 20th July, 2023, 00:05 until August 31st, 2023, 23:55. 

3.7 This promotion is governed by the laws of Romania.
