Changes to account activation process for new Drivers
We are making changes to how driver accounts will be activated in Qatar. We have a high number of existing drivers on our platform at the moment. As a result, we are going to limit activating new drivers to drive on Uber.
What this means for the new drivers:
Those wishing to drive on Uber can still go ahead and submit the required documents to apply to drive on Uber. However, it will take them longer to get their accounts activated to drive on Uber
