Sexual assault and domestic violence affect all genders and communities around the globe.

One in 3 women worldwide has experienced sexual assault and/or domestic violence in her lifetime. Promoting global awareness and partnering with leading organizations will aid in the fight against this abuse.

Promoting global awareness

وسيتم توجيه جزء مبدئي من التمويل إلى شركائنا، مثل: «National Network to End Domestic Violence» و «NO MORE» و «Raliance».

According to experts, increasing awareness can help prevent sexual assault and domestic violence. In collaboration with partner organizations and our Safety Advisory Board, we have developed awareness and prevention messaging—and are informing millions of riders and drivers around the world through our in-app technology.

Using technology to enhance safety for riders and drivers

Technology can help increase accountability and transparency, such as pre-trip driver and car information sent to riders, a 2-way feedback system, and features like Real-Time ID Check, which helps verify that the right driver is behind the wheel. A top priority is continuing to invest in this technology and develop new products that contribute to the safety of everyone who drives and rides using the app.

We joined the Corporate Alliance to End Partner Violence in order to develop and adopt updated internal commitments and procedures that appropriately assist employees who might need our help in this global epidemic.

We choose not to remain silent but to join other leading organizations pioneering efforts in this area.
