Airport regulations
Your activity at the airport may be blocked by the application if:
- You can use the arrivals and departures area as a parking space.
- Using an undesignated area to drop off or pick up passengers. Always use Uber’s exclusive point.
- There is a complaint from the Floripa Airport team or traffic agents regarding situations that lead to losses or disturbances in operations in the airport region. This may include non-compliance with the region’s traffic rules, traffic laws and/or disrespect for people present at the airport, among others.
How trips from the airport work
It’s simple to receive passenger trips leaving the airport. However, these trips work a little differently than the rest of the city.
Express request
When a partner completes a trip at the airport terminal, they are eligible for a ten-minute period to receive a new request without having to go through the virtual queue. After this period, the partner enters the end of the virtual queue.

Staging information
Requests will be assigned to drivers in order of entry into the Virtual Queue Area. In other words, the partner who arrived first in the area will be the first to be requested, and so on.
Some considerations about the virtual queue in POA
The place in the virtual queue is lost when the partner:
- Leave the area designated for the virtual queue
- Go offline
Your place in the virtual queue may be lost if:
- The partner or user cancels five consecutive trips
- The partner rejects consecutive trips
- Stay parked on the airport entrance road. In addition to being a traffic violation, this interferes with the operation of the airport.
The place in the virtual queue is maintained if:
- The customer cancels the trip
- Partner’s internet signal drops
We warn that defrauding the airport queue may result in the permanent deactivation of the partner driver’s account.
Uber users at Floripa Airport will be instructed to request a trip and go to the Uber meeting point.
Uber has an exclusive space for you to meet your passengers at Floripa Airport. It is located close to the arrivals door, in the location identified with our brand. Pay close attention, as this space is not for parking your car.
Users will be required to select the meeting point and will not be allowed to board anywhere other than the pre-established location.
