About the Role
This role provides a unique opportunity to work on the rollout of our evolving pricing, rider incentive and driver incentive strategies across some of our most competitive markets in LatAm. We are looking for someone passionate about problem solving, engaging senior stakeholders and working with cross-functional groups.
This role will involve huge cross-functional collaboration across product, cities, finance, marketing, tax, legal and customer support. We are looking for exceptional managers who are able to coordinate across all these groups to deliver successful strategies and drive operational efficiencies through experimentation and product rollouts. This person will also be responsible for working with our analytics and automation team and HQ product to build out the tools and workflows to manage the deployment, tracking, and optimization of pricing and incentives investments.
What You’ll Do
Efficiency. Look beyond the obvious metrics and identify how we can optimize rider and driver experience on the platform.
Analytics. Heavy analysis of our marketplace, rider, and partner behavior to identify and solve marketplace challenges.
Strategy. Decide which projects and areas of the efficiency puzzle the team should focus on and set an aggressive timeline to reach those goals.
Cost-Benefit Analysis. Evaluate the economic and strategic costs and benefits of programs and work with management to execute those strategies as efficiently as possible.
Product Improvement. Proactively search for new features that could improve the efficiency of our cities.
Stakeholder management. Be a global thought leader and sparring partner for product teams, other mega-regions, and regional stakeholders.
Centralization and automation. Define core analysis and processes and scale them across LatAm and beyond
What you'll need
3 or more years of Strategy Consulting, Engineering, Banking, Process Improvement, Business Intelligence or similar background in a large business or growing a startup is expected, but we will consider candidates with less experience if they meet our other requirements
SQL, Python or R advanced knowledge
Strong track record of being a respected operational problem solver
Data-driven decision-making mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking and experimentation
Demonstrated experience interpreting and presenting data to various audiences; ability to translate quantitative findings into action plans
Ability to take initiative in a constantly-changing work environment
Strong communication and comfort sharing information formally or informally with senior audiences
