About the Role
The Driver Access team is the driving force at Uber focused on every aspect of getting drivers safely, efficiently, and compliantly on the road.
What You’ll Do
Identify different opportunities regarding compliance and account integrity to be implemented for drivers in the region
Analyze the different stages of our funnels and propose and implement strategies to make them more safe, reliable and consistent in terms of experience
Connect with stakeholders at a local level to understand their biggest challenges and biggest opportunities of centralization and scalability around funnels, compliance and account integrity
Connect with stakeholders at a central level to understand the scope of their projects and identify cross-collaboration opportunities where the objectives might overlap with ours
Execute the initiatives to automate processes leveraging coding skills
Connect and lead conversations with Product teams in HQ to escalate different challenges that we face as a region, prioritize the ones that will contribute the most value and get their buy-in and resources to account for those
Potentially manage some individuals in the team and set the path for them to work in the most impactful projects considering their abilities, opportunity areas and development process
Generate different reports aimed to showcase the work that the Access team does and provide visibility to all our stakeholders in the region
Analyze all our rails processes and identify improvement or deprecation opportunities according to their impact
Partner with key stakeholders in the CommOps team to understand what are the prospects of drivers talking about the most, identify our biggest pain points at a regional level and generate solutions that could not only save us money in terms of support but also, enhance our onboarding and re-onboarding experience
Use different data analysis tools and numbers to support business cases, projects or decisions that should be worked or considered
Partner with other senior managers in the team as well as the lead to craft the best version of the Access team in terms of project management, local visits, meetings structure and planning process
What You’ll Need
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Engineering or similar field
Minimum 5 years of experience using data to drive business decisions but we will consider candidates with less experience if they meet our other requirements
Experience leading a team for 2 years or more is a plus
Hustler - the ability to self-serve, investigate and execute with minimal instruction
Ops rockstar with outstanding data-type and analytics skills with great ability to hack solutions
A person capable of building out world-class asks through data-driven business cases
Advanced SQL and analytics skills
Medium to high coding skills in Python is a MUST
Ability to work under pressure and deliver results while maintaining high-quality work standards
