About the Role

The Uber Eats Strategy and Operations Coordinator (Growth) role is a unique opportunity to have a high influence on Uber Eats strategy. This is a critical role as it will be developing and executing user promotions and other growth strategies to ensure UberEats hits topline trips and gross bookings growth at the most optimal investment level. At the same time, it will also be supportive to innovative initiatives with potential to impact topline and LTV per user to Uber.

What You’ll Do

 

  • Evaluate overall topline results, diagnose growth performance and trends
  • Develop and execute user promotions and other growth strategies based on lifecycle profiles (existing users, new users, cross-sell with ridesharing business, etc.) and user cohorts
  • Run experiments to better understand elasticity and user behavior across different channels and levels of investment.
  • Support the scoping of business opportunities incremental to our business as usual
  • Evaluate fit with existing user base, potential additional revenue/users and strategic priority
  • Support the execution of operational pilots to identify potential fail points and how to unblock scale
  • Measures of success: achieve topline trips / GB, meet budgeted spend per trip and user engagement/acquisition related metrics

 

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year university
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience is expected, but we will consider candidates with less experience if they meet our other requirements
  • Knowledge about process development. The goal is to make user promotions and other growth activities robust and comprehensive across ops and marketing in 2019
  • Adaptability to change and ability to execute quickly. This area is focused on optimising for growth and scope change may happen frequently
  • Experience with analytics and experimentation techniques is a plus.  We want to build a knowledge base of tactics with an expectation of how they will impact the market
