What You’ll Do

You’ll be supporting the recruiting for our Corporate areas across LATAM, building the teams who support the growth of Uber in Latin America. This includes:

  • Source top talent using a variety of creative techniques
  • Keep hiring managers and candidates continually informed with quality communications throughout the hiring process
  • Keep all stakeholders engaged in recruiting by communicating data and status, coordinating work cross-functionally and influencing peers, project leaders and/or managers
  • Work closely with the whole recruiting and people teams to improve upon existing processes and develop innovative strategies around finding top talent
  • Work closely with our LATAM and global teams to develop recruiting best practices
  • Support promoting Uber's employer brand through attending industry and recruiting events
  • Bring talent market insights and data to backup hiring decisions
  • Develop relationships with candidates, understanding their needs, proving a seamless candidate experience
  • Solve problems and bring solutions by collecting data, identifying alternatives and seeking out additional responsibilities


What You’ll Need

  • Experience recruiting in a fast paced environment and succeeding in an environment with competing demands.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Take initiative, use consultative skills and build productive relationships
  • Track record of demonstrating work ethic and personal accountability
  • Proven ability of solving complex problems and delivering significant impact
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize
  • Advanced English and Spanish

About the Team


The Recruiting team partners with our Business and main stakeholders to understand their hiring needs. Recruiters find creative ways to find and hire the best talent, but also serve as consultants to our internal customers, advising on recruiting processes, market data, compensation alignment, giving training to hiring teams, among many others.
