About the Role

 

The Regional Core Analytics Manager will lead the development of insightful analyses and tools, shape the analytics framework, and metrics strategy for the Customer Experience and Critical Support organizations. We’re looking for a strategic thinker who can dive deep into the details while keeping the high-level vision to deliver impactful results.

The ideal candidate for this role should have strong analytical skills, experience managing a team, excellent time-management, and organizational habits, and the ability to clearly communicate and present information to seek buy-in.

What You’ll Do

 

  • Lead a team of highly skilled analysts to deliver key analyses and projects across our Community Operations organization with the main focus on a regional scale
  • Act as an analytical thought partner to our operational teams and help translate business needs into data problems for the team to solve effectively
  • Serve as project manager and support your team on the day-to-day execution of their projects, reporting, and other functions your team takes on
  • Drive analysis of important strategic decisions to improve Uber’s customer experience
  • Work closely with other members of the Uber team such as the Customer Experience and Operations teams

 

What You’ll Need

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, strategy or related fields, but we'll consider candidates with less experience if they meet our other requirements
  • Ability to be an effective leader managing teams
  • Exceptional communication and organization skills
  • Ability to work with remote teams to develop strategies and foster a cohesive and creative work environment
  • Exceptional Excel/data management skills
  • SQL proficiency

Bonus Points If

 

  • Experience in a technology, startup or high growth environment
  • Graduate degree in analytics-related fields or in business
  • Python/R skills

 

About the Team

 

The LatAm Community Operations team is the main advocate for Customer Experience in the region making sure that we deliver high-quality service. In addition, we enable a large network of agents to provide high-quality and engaging support at scale. The Analytics & Insights team is tasked with providing critical business insights to help identify opportunities and implement operational improvements across our entire organization.
