About the Role
As a Sr. Technical Recruiter you will have the opportunity to build the founding team for Uber’s first Development Center in LatAm. The team will be based in Sao Paulo and focus on advanced technologies to improve safety around the world. You will be part of a small and collaborative team tasked with hiring the best engineers, product managers, designers, and more. The work you do will be professionally rewarding and the end product you will help create will impact Uber’s riders and drivers around the world.
What You’ll Do
You'll be tasked with supporting our hiring managers, building high-performance teams and partnering wherever needed.
Source and hire across all teams but primarily engineering; helping to drive our product and ultimately continue to expand our business globally.
Create robust pipelines while making each candidate feel like they're the only one you're talking to.
Be knowledgeable about our business and be on point for HR related questions (i.e. benefits, comp, etc).
Build Uber’s tech brand in the region through attending networking events, conferences, e-meetups, etc.
Work to improve upon existing programs and develop innovative strategies around finding our future team.
Develop relationships across multiple teams.
Showcase your passion for the industry. That means intimate knowledge about market, target companies, relationships in open source networks.
Form relationships across local and regional universities to establish university recruiting programs.
What You’ll Need
Minimum 5 years of recruiting experience, with a minimum of two years spent focused on technical recruiting
In-house & agency recruiting experience
Experience in a fast-growing tech environment a plus
Degreed or have equivalent work experience
Fluent in English
