About The Role


With Uber Eats, we’re building Uber’s newest and fastest growing business, spanning 180+ cities across all six continents in two years. Today, Uber Eats is available across many parts of APAC including Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, Auckland, Wellington, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne -- and we’re just getting started.


In this role, you will own the data-driven customer experience for Uber Eats customers, serving as the primary connection point between Uber Eats and our millions of customers across Australia & New Zealand.


You'll develop and lead our personalisation strategy across web, email, SMS, push notifications, in-app messaging and more, whilst being a crucial part of the team which extends that personalisation strategy into our product and service channels.


You'll manage a team of highly effective marketers and work cross functionally with ANZ Marketing, Operations and Customer Service to define the technology, messaging, strategy, and data models needed for Uber to meet aggressive growth targets.


What You'll Do:


  • Define the Uber Eats CRM Strategy and establish KPIs, manage performance / reporting, and communicate results to leadership
  • Drive the direction of customer segmentation, targeting, and reporting to inform the development of the lifecycle program
  • In partnership with Uber Eats leaders, develop and communicate our Eater value proposition in an increasingly competitive marketplace
  • Build, coach and lead a team of highly effective digital marketers, maintaining high morale and strong business results
  • Plan and prioritize the team's work to balance hyper local and regional needs, while delivering efficient and high-quality results
  • Represent end-user's voice on key cross-departmental initiatives
  • Build an effective bridge between cross-functional departments, Operations, Marketing and Functional teams to launch and iterate on our driver and rider communications


What You'll Need:

  • 8+ years of data-driven digital marketing experience (5+ years experience as leader of growing marketing organization), experience within a food marketplace or ecommerce organisation preferred
  • Demonstrable experience developing personalisation strategy and implementing through teams and technology at scale
  • Strong technical understanding of a range of high scale digital personalisation platforms, such as Adobe Marketing or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Strong understanding of the value of various analytical approaches in the development and execution of personalisation, coupled with a highly numerical and commercial mindset
  • A track-record of success leading and inspiring teams
  • Ability to use diplomacy and influence to build strong relationships across the organization as well as externally
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
