Duboce Triangle

The Duboce Triangle neighborhood is home to the beloved Duboce Park, landscaped sidewalks, Victorian style homes, and apartment buildings. Though mostly residential, you'll find a few businesses and parks that cater to the people who live in this central neighborhood, which is nestled among several others, including The Castro, Eureka Valley, the Lower Haight, and the Mission District.

Mission Dolores

"The Mission" as it's called, is filled with popular coffee shops and restaurants; bars, and second-hand shops, making it a popular destination no matter the time of day. This neighborhood is also home to Dolores Park, which attracts people of all ages for picnics, partying, and people-watching. The area's popular residential area borders Valencia and Sanchez Streets, as well as 20th and 22nd Streets.

Inner Mission

The San Francisco Inner Mission is a diverse neighborhood home to a mix of thrift stores, coffeehouses, bookstores, restaurants, and more. This area boasts a vibrant music and arts scene, hosting festivals, parades, and fairs throughout the year.

La Lengua

The small triangular section of San Francisco, known as La Lengua, boasts a wide selection of diverse eateries, culture, and bars. It gets its name that means "tongue" from the shape of the community on the map. Some dining destinations in La Lengua include El Rio Bar, Virgil's Sea Room, a small coffee shop aptly named CoffeeShop, the two-sided combination restaurant Coco's Ramen and Crazy Sushi, Pizza Hacker, and Mitchell's Ice Cream. For those who want to browse some local art and other offerings, there's Secession Art and Design, a gallery that features a variety of items from hand-painted attire to photographs.

Civic Center

The Civic Center is a vast complex in San Francisco home to a range of landmarks and attractions, from government buildings to museums and theaters. Two such destinations include the Asian Art Museum and the War Memorial Opera House. Situated near the city's downtown area, there are also a variety of hotels in the area, like the Edwardian Hotel and the Oak Hotel. Civic Center is also home to restaurants, like Nojo Ramen Tavern and Zuni Cafe.

Hayes Valley

Hayes Valley is a happening San Francisco neighborhood with tree-lined streets, cafes, sweet shops, and upscale boutiques. The SFJAZZ Center is located here, as is the Octavia Art Gallery. Hayes Valley has plenty of tours for visitors to take, including food tours of top dining establishments and biking tours.
