"The Marina", as it's called, is picturesque and brims with shops, restaurants, and bars. Home to the Palace of Fine Arts, Fort Mason Center for Arts and Culture, and a vibrant Sunday Farmers' Market, there's no shortage of things to do and places to visit any day of the week in this neighborhood.

Union Street

Union Street, which runs horizontally across the northern part of the city, is lined with fine dining, art galleries, trendy boutiques, jewelry stores, spas, restaurants, cafes, and more. Festivals take place throughout the year along this historical street, such as the Union Street Music Festival, Fantasy of Lights, Easter Parade, Annual Union Street Harvest Wine Walk, and more. Walk north toward the waterfront from Union Street to enjoy views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz island.
