Get to know nearby neighborhoods

Bayview

Bayview, located in San Francisco, is in the southeastern corner of the city. The neighborhood, also known as The Bayview, is home to the Bayview Opera House. There are several coffee shops in the area as well as Heron's Head Park, and Hilltop Park. Artists can rent space at Third Street Village.

Excelsior

Excelsior is a diverse neighborhood in San Francisco. Some of the main events in this community include Jerry Day, which honors the legendary singer-songwriter, the family-friendly Excelsior Festival, and the Excelsior District Annual Car Show at Excelsior Park.

Mission Terrace

Mission Terrace, located in San Francisco, is a community with colorful homes. Pizza parlors, local markets, and commercial businesses are located within the community. Balboa Park, as well as Boxer Stadium, are nearby in the residential area. Mission Terrace sits next to John F Foran Freeway.

Stonestown

Not far from San Francisco State University sits Stonestown, a popular destination featuring restaurants, dining, events, movies, and more. Cox Stadium is located nearby and offers different sporting events throughout the year.

Westwood Park

Westwood Park is an established community in San Francisco, California, and it features a mix of larger homes for the more affluent and more than 650 bungalow homes that were built in the early 1900s. This is primarily a residential area with very little retail and office space. Almost any time of day and into the early evening, you'll see dog walkers and joggers on the streets of Westwood Park.

Bernal Heights

Cafes, fruit markets, restaurants, and residences dot the landscape in Bernal Heights. Events are held throughout the year here, including the San Francisco Illegal Soapbox Derby, the outdoor cinema, and the Fiesta on the Hill street fair.
