Inner Richmond

Neighborhood restaurants, Asian food, and eclectic shopping are aplenty in the Inner Richmond. Situated between the Presidio and Golden Gate Park, this neighborhood boasts easy access to an abdundance of outdoor activities and picturesque places. Home to Chinese, Thai, Burmese, and Cambodian restaurants, people can find food from an array of cuisines in the Inner Richmond.

Outer Sunset

The Outer Sunset sits on the western side of San Francisco, sharing borders with Golden Gate Park and Ocean Beach, two of the city's popular outdoor destinations. Locals and tourists visit this part of town not only for the park and the ocean, but also for the food. It's a particularly popular destination for Asian cuisine. Some of its restaurants and cafes include Outerlands, Devil's Teeth Baking Company, Andytown Coffee Roasters, and countless others.

Inner Sunset

Just below the eastern edge of Golden Gate park sits the Inner Sunset. This neighborhood is home to a plethora of places to dine, including ethnic restaurants, ice cream shops, wine bars, bakeries, and more. The majority of the businesses in this area are located around Irving Street from 5th to 12th Avenue, where people can find galleries, bookstores, apparel shops, gift shops, and jewelry boutiques.

Japantown

Japantown is a San Francisco neighborhood offering an array of ramen and sushi restaurants, Asian grocery stores, and locally owned boutiques. One popular architectural attraction in Japantown is the Peace Pagoda, which is located in the neighborhood's courtyard plaza. There are also ample entertainment options in this neighborhood, including theaters and lounges.

Mission Dolores

"The Mission" as it's called, is filled with popular coffee shops and restaurants; bars, and second-hand shops, making it a popular destination no matter the time of day. This neighborhood is also home to Dolores Park, which attracts people of all ages for picnics, partying, and people-watching. The area's popular residential area borders Valencia and Sanchez Streets, as well as 20th and 22nd Streets.

Haight Ashbury

Haight Ashbury is an iconic San Francisco neighborhood, famous for being the historical hub of the hippie movement. Visitors here can experience the counterculture movement here to this day by visiting the Grateful Dead House and walking through the countless tie dye shops that line Haight Street. This neighborhood is also home to popular restaurants like Parada 22 and Magnolia Gastropub and Brewery.
