Trestle Glen

The affluent neighborhood Trestle Glen in Oakland, California, was named after a rail trestle built in 1893. There are different of styles of homes in this neighborhood, including Craftsman, Tudor Revival, Spanish, and Prairie. Upper Laurel

Upper Laurel is located in Oakland, California, and features quite a few amenities for residents and visitors. This Alameda County community is ethnically diverse and is home to a wide range of age groups. The area has quite a few restaurants, grocery stores, bars, coffee shops, and bakeries. Adams Point

Located on the North Shore of Oakland, California's, Lake Merritt, Adams Point is a community that features residential, business, and tourist areas. Some of the points of interest include the Earl Warren House, the Bellevue Staten Building, Children's Fairyland, and Lakeside Park. The community got its name from an early settler named Edson Adams and became a camp for those who were displaced by the 1906 earthquake in San Francisco.

The Museum of Children's Arts, the Alameda County Superior Courthouse, and the Oakland Public Library are all located near Lakeside, a historic Oakland neighborhood near downtown Oakland and Lake Merritt.
