Built in 1907, the Swedish American Hall is home to the San Francisco Swedish Society and hosts a variety of events throughout the year. Featuring three stories of Arts and Crafts-style architecture, the Hall has a variety of spaces for hosting weddings, receptions, and other events. Freja Hall is the largest space and features cathedral ceilings, a balcony, and a stage. Balder Hall is smaller, rife with decorative molding and lined with double-hung windows overlooking Market Street. Frequent public events hosted here include concerts, stand-up comedians, and lectures.
