Stanford Golf Course in Menlo Park is situated in the foothills above Stanford University. It was designed in 1930 by George C. Thomas and William Bell. Since opening, it has remained a highly-regarded course worldwide. The Stanford Golf Course is open to current staff, faculty, and students. It is also open to members, alumni, and their guests. The course has been the site of numerous golfing events, including collegiate and non-collegiate events such as the U.S. Qualifying Open.
