Japanese Friendship Garden
1300 Senter Rd, San Jose, CA
The Japanese Friendship Garden Regional Park in San Jose was originally built in 1965 as a symbol of friendship between the City of San Jose and its sister city of Okayama, Japan. The garden's picturesque design is based on the famous Korakuen Garden in Okayama, complete with waterfalls, a brook running the length of the garden and bridges spanning the ponds, which are stocked with Koi fish. The gardens are free to the public and are located in the South Bay of San Jose.
