Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, CA
Dutch Windmill Tulip Garden is located in San Francisco. The windmill was a gift from Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands in 1902. March is the best time to see poppies and tulips blooming in the garden. The windmill, located in Golden Gate Park brought water into the park, creating a lush environment. Although the windmill stands, electrical pumps now bring water into the park. The massive structure is on view at the park for visitors. The Dutch Windmill is on the west side of the park.
