As visitor numbers surge across the Dolomites this winter, Uber has unveiled a new way to experience the region – guided snowmobile safaris bookable directly in the Uber app.
With Cortina entering its busiest winter moment of the season, Uber today unveiled Uber Snowmobile — an exhilarating new winter sports experience designed to help visitors make the most of their trip to the mountains.
Launching later this week, Uber Snowmobile will let fans explore the dramatic mountain landscapes surrounding Cortina – from snow-covered forest trails to panoramic Dolomite viewpoints. With more than 1.5 million people expected across Northern Italy this season, the experience offers visitors a way to go beyond the arenas, pistes, and podiums and make the most of their trip.
Operated in partnership with local mountain specialists Snowdreamers, the experience includes a professional guide, safety equipment, and exclusive Uber-branded winter swag. In true Uber style, transfers to and from the mountain are included from anywhere in Cortina and the surrounding areas.
Each snowmobile seats two riders, with tours capped at eight guests. Unlike most snowmobile experiences – which often cost hundreds of euros and sell out weeks in advance – Uber Snowmobile will be free to book every Saturday and Sunday throughout February 2026. Users can book in advance via the Uber app on a first-come, first-served basis from 4 February.
More ways to move: Uber Ski and Uber Reserve
To further support winter travel during the Games, Uber will also roll out Uber Ski – a dedicated ride option for travellers carrying skis, snowboards, and winter equipment – making it easier to move between hotels, slopes, and Olympic hotspots in the Cortina ski area.
Uber will also expand its ground transport options with Uber Reserve, allowing visitors to book rides in advance and beat the crowds during what’s expected to be one of the busiest winter travel weeks on record in the region.

Uber Snow Mobile is a limited-edition winter experience launching in Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, from Saturday 7 February 2026. The experience will operate every Saturday and Sunday throughout February and is delivered in partnership with Snowdreamers, local licensed mountain operators.
