Step by step instructions to get your NSW Driving Record online

  • Step 1: Follow this link to start the process of obtaining your online Driving Record
  • Step 2: If you already have an account with the RMS, please login and proceed to Step 4. If you do not have an account, please register for a MyServiceNSW Account
  • Step 3: Once you have set up a MyService NSW Account, ‘Log in’ using your email address and password
  • Step 4: Next connect your MyServiceNSW account to Roads and Maritime Services by clicking 'Roads' on the left hand side of the page
  • Step 5: To connect these, choose “I have my NSW Driver Licence” and input the information from your Driver Licence in the required fields. Use the examples on the page to ensure that the details are correct
  • Step 6: You will need to enter a security code (sent to your email or mobile phone) to finalise the link of your MyServiceNSW account to Roads and Maritime Services
  • Step 7: You will be shown a list of “My Services” in the middle. Under Linked Services, click “Roads”
  • Step 8: You will see some of your personal information, and an option to “Check your demerit points”. You will be taken to a page to “Check your demerit points”, click “Check online” and agree to the terms and conditions

  • Step 9: Next you will need to choose which Driving Record you wish to purchase. Uber needs an online driving record. To do this, please click “Buy an online driving record”
  • Step 10: When you see your receipt, you will be shown an option to email your driving record. Please ensure that you email a copy to your personal email address.
  • Submission: Once you receive the email, you will need to download the attached Driving Record. You can then upload your Driving Record to your Uber profile via this link
