About the Role

 

Our Account Managers assist with the development and growth of the initial customer network for the Uber Freight Europe marketplace. We are seeking candidates who are excited to help create a product with lasting value, have a desire to improve their operations acuity, and are passionate about changing the Logistics Industry abroad.

 

You will be joining a start-up operation helping launch Uber Freight into the international marketplace. If going global is for you, get in on the ground floor and help us build the future of freight internationally!

What You’ll Do

  • Develop process and system improvements to continually raise the bar of execution
  • Direct, manage and execute daily operations in support of our International customer base
  • Participate in the development, implementation and automation of critical business processes and tools used to track sales process, forecasting, pipeline management and performance
  • Work with customers to continually seek new solutions for their logistics challenges
  • Manage any issues that come up in the normal operation of freight movement
  • Be able to speak to core operational and growth metrics with the management team
  • Serve as a partner to our sales team anticipating challenges and presenting solutions to support Uber Freight's business objectives

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum 3 years of equivalent experience or in process and operational improvement in the Transport and Logistics industry
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems under pressure
  • Innovative mindset focused on doing things better, faster, more efficiently
  • Ability to collaborate and work with a highly diverse set of customers, transportation partners, and internal partners
  • Passion for the service needs of our customers and transportation partners
  • Analytical and critical thinking ability
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • The ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution - we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well
  • Project management experience, coursework or certification a plus
  • Fluency in French and English mandatory

You are part of a team that partners with external clients and internal sales team to facilitate and execute daily operations, while anticipating challenges and presenting solutions to delight our Enterprise customers and support Uber Freight's business objectives.
