About the Role

 

The Uber Freight business is growing rapidly, and is expanding internationally for the first time. The freight industry in the European Union has a unique set of strategic and operational challenges. It’s our vision at Uber Freight to transform the industry by creating an efficient, safe, and a high-quality experience for commercial shippers and carriers by matching freight loads through technology.

 

Our Account Coordinators are the operational problem solvers for our Account Management teams. They work cross-functionally to ensure the success of each load down to the finest detail. They execute our freight movements without fail, while providing exceptional service to our customers in the Uber Freight European marketplace

What You’ll Do

  • Show passion for solving the service needs of our customers and transportation partners
  • Support existing customer accounts with the best service
  • Build and schedule loads in our internal systems
  • Work with account managers and customers to address payment issues related to accessorial/line haul payments
  • Serve as a partner to our account managers by anticipating challenges and presenting solutions to support Uber Freight's business objectives
  • Manage any issues that come up in the normal operation of freight movement
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and automation of Standard Operating Procedures used in daily operations

What You’ll Need

  • 1-2 years experience in a professional environment within the logistics, operations or customer service industry
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work with a highly diverse set of customers and internal partners
  • Ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution—we need to do things quickly, and we need to do them well
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems under pressure
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to be resourceful, scrappy, and get things done
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills

About the Team

 

The Uber Freight Account Management team serves as a partner to our external clients and internal sales team, anticipating challenges and presenting solutions to support Uber Freight's business objectives. They help build and ensure sustainable growth for the European business.
