In accordance with New York State law, a tip may incur a 3% surcharge for the Black Car Fund. There will be a $15 surcharge on all trips beginning in Connecticut that end in New York City. The booking fee will still apply to all UberX and UberXL trips. Fares in Hartford County differ from the rest of the state.
