About the Role
The People Development Project Manager will join the PD org and be responsible for driving the success of programs that benefit Uber's managers, teams and individual contributors. This role is highly cross-functional in nature, working closely and collaboratively with product, strategy, operations, program and content teams along with business stakeholders. Successful candidates will be passionate about learning and development that supports people in ways that help the business be successful. * BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
* 3+ years experience project or program management
* 2+ years in Learning & Development, adult learning, organization development or other related field
* Experience developing and owning operational processes
* Experience with sourcing, vetting and managing learning vendors
* Experience with identifying, managing and influencing stakeholders
* Experience with scheduling tools, communication management tools and reporting systems
* Hands-on familiarity with tools and practices for project management, stakeholder management and results tracking
* Ability to understand the strategic impact of learning projects across the business, along with business intricacies, and project and organizational dependencies.
* Critical and creative thinking i.e. ability to think objectively in order to analyze a problem, and ability to proactively ideate and anticipate challenges to transform problems into opportunities
Bonus Points If You...
* Are skilled with GSuite, Sendgrid, and/or have wielded admin access in an LMS
* Have a graduate degree in adult learning, organizational development, organizational behavior, Industrial-organizational psychology, human resources, or equivalent
* Have a project management certification
