About the Role

The Operations & Logistics Manager role is a unique opportunity to drive the growth and consolidate the partner-driver base, and therefore to ensure strong and sustainable growth for Uber in the France, Switzerland and Austria (FSA) sub-region, with a strong focus on German speaking Switzerland and Austria. This role calls for a combination of savvy analytics, strategic thinking as well as strong execution and autonomy.

This is an intense operational and coordination role. The Operations & Logistics Manager role will need to develop robust and streamlined processes to attract, convert, engage and retain partner-drivers facing a multitude of complex needs. This requires a commitment to operational excellence, a deep understanding of driver lifecycle and economics and a customer centric mindset. This role also calls for a strong market proximity to collect insightful feedback on the ground. The Operations & Logistics Manager will also be responsible for supporting the functional team locally to scale processes and ensure project coordination with internal/external stakeholders.

The role will require to navigate the ever fluctuating regulatory & competitive landscape to ensure Uber remains one step ahead in this rapidly evolving sector. This role also calls for highly adaptable profiles that are keen to tackle different issues and will demonstrate ability to push new initiatives, positively challenge the existing and make the role what they want it to be.


  • Work with key leadership, such as the Head of Driver Growth and Country Growth Senior Operations Manager to outline Uber's FSA strategy to grow and consolidate the drivers base.
  • Define and implement world class acquisition and conversion processes.
  • Execute high impact engagement initiatives and retention processes.
  • Build beautiful and actionable dashboards tracking your team's KPIs with our reams of data.
  • Ramp up rapidly and adhere to the evolving regulatory and compliance requirements in the sector.
  • Work closely with functional teams to ensure country growth needs are met.


  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management / management consulting / investment banking / strategy work in a large business/start-up or other relevant backgrounds.
  • Fluent German is a must
  • Data-driven decision mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking
  • High adaptability to change and ability to execute quickly
  • Curious and eager to learn - you are interested in all things and can build up skills and knowledge very fast to become a recognized subject matter expert amongst your peers
  • You love coming up with innovative solutions.
  • You have a high Emotional IQ and are a great team player.
