Field Sales Manager, SMB Strategic Accounts, Uber Eats

About the Role

The Uber Eats sales organization is looking for a Field Sales Manager for SMB Strategic Accounts at Uber Eats who will oversee the SMB field team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing a best-in-class team of field sellers across key U.S. markets. You will be accountable for setting objectives and goals and driving the team to close and support strategic restaurant partners that align with company growth objectives. The ideal candidate will be an organized and focused leader with experience managing remote teams and a passion for forging meaningful, impactful, and long-lasting partnerships.

What You'll Do

  • Manage a team of 6-8 field sellers located throughout the United States
  • Set and enforce expectations around activity, trip intelligence \ reports, and performance metrics to ensure optimal productivity, consistent results, and visibility
  • Apply data gathered from the field to adjust, refine, and alter team tactics and strategy as needed
  • Report learnings, opportunities, and progress to senior leadership and act as a thought partner regarding field and competitive strategy
  • Own, track, and project field expenditures
  • Work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders to identify internal collaboration opportunities
  • Ideate and execute creative outreach tactics
  • Keep a strong pulse on competitive offerings and solutions
  • Report on progress, learnings, and state of the business to senior leadership
  • Travel to visit prospects, partners, and other offices as required

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 5 years sales management experience and minimum 2 years managing a remote B2B salesforce (field sales preferred)
  • The vision and ability to build-out a remote sales culture, with a keen focus on inclusion and virtual collaboration
  • The ability to genuinely receive, reflect upon, and act on both positive and critical feedback
  • Extraordinary listening, verbal, and written skills
  • A head for data analysis; harness and leverage data to spot trends and craft tactics and strategies that will drive productivity and unlock profitability
  • Experience in the restaurant or hospitality industries a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree
