Mid-Market Account Executive, Uber for Business

About the Role

You'll partner with companies between 1-5k employees to use the U4B platform. Our team prospects, manages pipeline, closes deals and forecasts opportunities. Mid-Market account executives should be comfortable negotiating complex contracts and working with multiple stakeholders within an account.

What You'll Do:

  • Prospect into Mid-Market accounts with 1-5k employees
  • Manage and close opportunities at least $10,000 annual contract value
  • Communicate the value of the Uber for Business platform to corporate customers
  • Develop Uber for Business pipeline within a defined territory / book of business
  • Lead and coordinate end-to-end sales motion for corporate customers including qualification, education, pricing/quoting, contract negotiation to close deals.
  • Build strategic relationships to gain strong positioning with decision makers while driving growth of net new business
  • Continuously assessing customers' evolving needs and aligning Uber for Business's value proposition

What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree required

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in a client-centric role that includes new business acquisition at the Mid-Market level
  • Experienced in selling travel or expense solutions
  • Existing relationships in the Canadian Mid-Market segment
  • Track record of delivering to a $1M+ CAD annual new contract goal
  • Strong presentation and verbal communication skills with a solution oriented approach to working with prospects and customers
  • Knowledge of how to build and execute on territory and account plans
  • Proven track record of selling into Canadian accounts
  • Methodical persistence and creativity for penetrating new markets and whitespace accounts
