About the Role

The Restaurant Operations Manager role is a unique opportunity to build and scale best-in-class processes and tools across Spain and have a direct impact in the success of one of Uber Eats' fastest growing countries and drive a step-change in the evolution of the food delivery business.

This is a critical role as it interfaces between our restaurant partners and our internal processes to optimize the food delivery experience. This operations-driven role calls for a rare combination of creative problem solving, process-driven and action-oriented mentality.

What You'll Do

  • Develop & Optimize Processes: Uber is a company that moves quickly and does things at large scale. You will help design processes regarding account management, training, restaurant marketing, compliance, etc. to fuel growth and drive efficiency.
  • Restaurant Partner Relations: Grow number of partners on the platform, manage partner development, monitor metrics, and ensure high-quality experiences on the Uber Eats system to provide the most reliable food delivery service in town.
  • Strategy: Choose which projects the team should prioritize, and set an progressive timeline to reach those goals
  • Product Improvement: Diligently search for new features which could improve our restaurant partners' experience on Uber Eats
  • Be Resourceful: Take ownership of Uber Eats growth in your market, and do everything you can to support and enhance the excellence of our services

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Strategy Consulting, Operations and Trading/Banking, or other relevant background (internships not included)
  • Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering or Finance
  • A process guru with a demonstrated track record of leading initiatives and projects at your organization that drive positive impact for your business.
  • Passion for the on-demand delivery space, and food delivery in particular.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional project teams, and ease working with multicultural stakeholders
  • Ability to take initiative in a constantly changing work environment and adopt a generalist do-what-it-takes mindset.
  • Mastery of Excel and SQL is required, Salesforce a plus
  • You accept and love feedback. From our restaurants and our food rating systems to our day-to-day work-style, Uber welcomes feedback on all fronts.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
