About the Sr. Manager, Sales Strategy

We're looking for an experienced business leader who is passionate about the opportunity to build and scale our Sales Operations function as we grow Uber for Business. The Sr. Manager, Sales Strategy, Uber for Business will focus on driving key pivotal initiatives to improve revenue, optimize our go-to-market, and increase product adoption.

What you'll do

Strategy - Develop and execute initiatives against the overall sales org strategy. This includes a continuous review of our GTM model as well as building a "market leader" plan with a focus on becoming #1 in markets where we have strong product/market fit and high CP.

Experiments - Use data-driven decision-making and sound business judgment to run sales tests and lead market intelligence efforts to evolve our prospecting targets/segmentation, customer retention/growth, and top of the funnel lead scoring. Own and drive key strategic product pilots across our GTM teams.

Optimize - Build a customer acquisition engine to better target prospects, partnering with our Data Science team and external vendors.

Analyze - Build models to evaluate the economics, value, and opportunity costs of strategic initiatives intended to multiply rep productivity and or increase GB per sales HC.

Influence - Manage cross-functional projects with our sales, operations, product, engineering, S&P, and BD teams to drive strategy and achieve targets.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of sales strategy & operations experience (e.g., investment banking, strategy consulting, enterprise SaaS).

Minimum of 4 years of sales operations experience.

Analytical skills and an eye for business. Aptitude for framing business questions with data, translating business needs into strategies, and executing tactics and process improvements.

Experience working with large sets of unstructured and synthesizing into business insights (e.g., using SQL, Excel, Salesforce).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience problem solving and passion to analyze, set priorities, and tackle complex problems effectively and consistently.

Effective, clear, and concise interpersonal skills, verbal and written. Experience communicating with executives and cross-functional teams alike.

Experience driving cross-functional projects end-to-end.

Ability to negotiate priorities across organizations at all levels.

You must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
