About the Head of Channel Sales Role

As the Head of Channel Sales, you will have the opportunity to help scale Uber for Business by bringing the power of Uber Rides, Eats, and Delivery to third-party platform partners. We're looking for someone who can shape our strategy, establish a team, and close channel partnerships across a variety of verticals (e.g., logistics, eCommerce, events, recruiting). This is a unique opportunity to build a multi-billion dollar line of business.

What you'll do

  • Refine the strategy to accelerate Uber for Business' growth via one-to-many Channel Sales.
  • Lead a team of Channel Sellers to source, structure and execute on strategic partnerships which will increase the growth of Uber for Business
  • Understand the needs of one-to-many platform partners and collaborate with Product to evolve our API solutions
  • Develop the playbook for Channel Partner growth and activation and work with the Sales and Account Management team to activate Channel Partners.
  • Build and maintain an intimate understanding of Uber for Business' products, value proposition, and the competitive marketplace.

Basic Qualifications

8+ years of experience in Channel Sales, Business Development, Partnership Management, or Channel Partnerships

Demonstrated success in similar Channel Sales roles with a technology company, developing strong partner relationships which have led to sales success

Skilled at interfacing and negotiating business terms with senior management/C-level executives.

Ability to be independent, multi-task, and deal with time pressure in an unstructured environment; ability to work through uncertainty

Preferred Qualifications

Experience leading a global team

Exceptional oral and written communication skills

Experience in one of our core verticals (Logistics, eCommerce, Hospitality, Recruiting)
