Senior Operations Manager, Uber Eats
About the Role
UberEats Taiwan has been a successful market for our global business. The Operations team reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for leading the growth and profitability of Uber Eats in Taiwan. We are looking for a passionate and committed Senior Operations Manager to lead the Restaurants & Eaters verticals through their next phase of growth.
What You'll Be:
We are looking for a strategic partner to the General Manager and Head of Strategy & Operations to support the growth of the Taiwan business, translating global goals into a locally inspiring strategy and plan.
You will be accountable for driving commercial results related to restaurant and eater performance.
You will be a meaningful cross-functional partner to the many teams that do not directly report to you but are critical to the successful execution of your plan, including CommOps, Sales, Marketing, Policy, Legal, Comms, Tax, Finance, BD and many more.

What You'll Do:
Build and communicate analyses to leadership that drives the growth, efficiency, quality and experience of our Restaurant and Eater operations.
Maintain a pulse on the industry landscape to constantly assess threats and opportunities, as well as document and communicate market intelligence.
Manage the Restaurant and Eater Operations team to execute high priority, needle-moving initiatives and projects.
Actively find opportunities and areas for optimization, and innovate new processes to keep our local team as efficient as possible.
- Engage with regional and cross-functional team members to surface and implement best practices. Actively maintain communications with a broad partner base.
What You'll Need:
8-10 years work experience, including time spent in strategic and operational roles, supported by a history of delivering clear results.
Strong track record of building, leading and engaging diverse teams.
Evidence of successful complex partner management across a variety of functions.
An analytical mentality and strong intuition for business.
An appetite for taking smart risks in a fast moving, competitive and often ambiguous environment.
Pure hustle and passion of building a new consumer business in a competitive market.
Able to collaborate, with a willingness to listen and learn.
A great teammate who doesn't mind rolling up your sleeves to do the day-to-day work.
- Traditional Chinese proficiency, English Advanced Business Fluency, reading, written and spoken.
