Senior Account Manager - Uber Freight

About the Role

The Senior Account Manager in the European Uber Freight business is a creative solution builder, capable of working across multiple clients or verticals to solve their complex and diverse supply chains. They will be responsible for the growth, quality, automation and margin of their portfolio, working in a highly dynamic environment with teams across the entire business. In short, they will be true General Managers of their accounts, dedicated to building for and serving our customers on the platform to make them successful.

What you'll do:

  • Manage a portfolio of customers, while simultaneously onboarding new customers successfully
  • Ensure that each account is meeting the customer's KPIs and subsequently grows their business
  • Communicate and collaborate across the organization, engaging with peers in every department to improve service, streamline processes, and elevate the shipper experience.
  • Lead and create QBRs with current customer accounts, offer strategy to fix problems and drive continuous growth
  • Work tirelessly to earn our customer's trust and business by solving their problems, improving our service and lowering their costs. You surprise and delight them, always
  • Analyze, present and read large data sets

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
  • 4-6 years relative experience in customer facing roles (Account Management, Sales, Other)
  • Have a track record of being a customer-facing problem solver
  • A bias for action; ability to collect buy in for an idea and then carry it forward through execution
  • Strong interpersonal skills; participate in a team environment and build strong working relationships
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • A natural positive thinker, and self-motivated individual
  • German, Spanish or French language skills will be advantageous in this position, but are not essential
