About the Role

The Sr. Salesforce Administrator will join our Business Applications team and be responsible for maintaining and driving enhancements to our Salesforce platform including: user support and training, user management, configuration, documentation, identifying and troubleshooting issues, resolving system defects and building advanced reports and dashboards. This is a senior role working with cross-functional global teams and leaders in Uber Eats to administer and configure the features and functionality behind Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. Your solutions will have significant impact to Uber's results in areas of user growth, issue resolution, safety and global expansion. You will act as the technical SME for Salesforce and will focus on maximizing system efficiencies and better capitalizing on the features and benefits of Salesforce-based systems relative to the needs of the business.

What You'll Do

  • Optimize Salesforce Service Cloud and Salesforce Sales Cloud functionality for our Uber for Business team members
  • Manage administration functions including but not limited to: user and security management, object customizations, process automations, fields/relationships, workflow rules, page layouts, validation rules, email templates, custom buttons and app installations, configurations and integrations
  • Manage user configuration, roles, profiles and permission sets
  • Handle inbound user requests and respond to them in a timely manner in our ticketing system; troubleshoot, resolve, escalate, and track system issues
  • Create and maintain thorough, up-to-date, functional and technical systems documentation for business and compliance purposes
  • Support QA efforts during implementations and rollouts of new system features
  • Assist with data maintenance, imports, exports, and updates using data loader
  • Create reports and dashboards for the business
  • Maintain a holistic view of all business processes and users in the system to understand cross-functional impacts with regard to configuration, process, workflow and reporting
  • Monitor, assess and report on Salesforce system health and usage. Identify needed system improvements
  • Act as a leader and mentor to more junior members of the team, promoting growth, development and knowledge sharing
  • Partner with business stakeholders and participate in the planning and analysis of business requirements for system changes and enhancements
  • Translate user stories into creative and effective technical designs
  • Monitor performance and scalability and refactor existing sub-optimal features

What You'll Need:

  • 5+ years Salesforce administrator related experience.
  • Expert level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
  • Mastery of user security, profile and role management, custom objects, workflow and validation rules, email templates, formulas, dashboards & reporting
  • Knowledge of SFDC configuration including use of data loader and third party tools.
  • Experience with Visualforce, Process Builder, Salesforce Cloud Flow Designer, SOQL and JavaScript
  • Experienced in Lightning
  • Experienced designing and enhancing workflow rules, validation rules, approval processes, page layouts, custom objects, custom settings, SSO configuration, profiles & permission sets, reports and dashboard development
  • Be detail-oriented and have strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Able to meet deadlines, communicate delays, clarify ambiguous situations
  • Ability to provide impeccable customer service in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and pick up new skill sets quickly
  • Previous roles in a consulting or high growth, tech environment highly desired
  • Operations experience a plus
  • Experience with the new Salesforce lightning framework a plus
  • BA/BS degree in a computer science discipline, or equivalent applicable experience.
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201) required and Certified Salesforce Advanced Administrator (ADM 301) a plus
